High Bridge Stables LLC is one of the most treasured working horse stables and wedding venue nestled in the countryside of Farmville, Virginia. High Bridge Stables is located just three miles from charming Downtown Farmville. This historic and beautiful property has been renovated to be an ideal venue for weddings and other gatherings.

FACILITY

At High Bridge Stables, couples get the exclusive use of the large barn, pavilion, and upper riding ring, the lawn and Chapel for your gathering and celebration. The property has incredible views, gentle meadows, and is surrounded by three fields of horses on 42 acres, and a secluded entrance to the 30 mile trail of High Bridge State Park.

GATHERINGS

Step inside the event barn at the working horse farm and be surrounded by the casual elegance of the barn, and stone fireplace under the large outdoor pavilion. The property also includes a separate Carriage House where the bride can prepare for her special wedding day. The event space can accommodate up to 120 people.

Five minutes from Longwood University, 15 minutes to Hampden-Sydney College, and approximately 1 hour to the University of Virginia, and the University of Richmond. You will feel like you’re in an entirely different world, where the green pastures, rolling hills, and two 100-year-old barns are a beautiful backdrop to an authentic working horse farm, a unique setting for wedding photography.
